Hell's Seal:  Confusion, also known as Hell's Mark Confusion, Gedo Seal:  Confusion, or Gedo Mark:  Confusion, is a one of the three forbidden techniques in Hell's Seal, and one of the two created by Orochimaru during the Third Great Shinobi World War.  To this day, due to it's effects on both the user and the victim, it's considered one of the most forbidden techniques in the entirety of Konohagakure's history.

This technique, much like the Hell's Seal:  Formation and the Hell's Seal:  Release, causes significant damage on the user, which is one of the reasons that it became classified as a forbidden jutsu.  It allows the user to take control of the mind of one or many victims at once, forcing them to work for them.  Even if the victim does submit to them, then the pain coursing through their body will be ungodly, which is the other reason why that it became known as a forbidden jutsu.
